There is nothing as interesting, exciting and great as seeing yourself being mirrored back at you especially through a friend.
Say for instance, your friend achieves a great feat or breaks even and excels at a course you were hoping to veer into. You’ll be beside yourself with excitement and the encouragement is certainly going to give a bump to your steps. Unless ofcourse you’re a witch, consumed by envy and jealousy and hatred, hehehe.
Otherwise, you’ll feel like, certainly if he can do it, then I can too. You’ll also know that since you have a predecessor, all information that you’ll need will readily be at your disposal.
You won’t lack motivation either, especially if you’re venturing in almost in quick succession. I know that lastborns or people with older siblings can relate. No offence to the firstborn please.
If you’re humble enough to submit to tutelage, you’ll realize that you won’t even have to make the same mistakes they made. Pitfalls to avoid will be clearly stated for you to look out for.
Except you have an extreme case of stubbornness ofcourse, or a rare mental syndrome called I-must-see-for-myself.
