Baby food

Kids are very interesting creatures. But today we’re discussing the smell of their food. In fact, everytime I hear sweet smelling savour, my mind immediately goes to baby food. One time we were fasting and I was praying on the aisle of church when suddenly, the smell hit my nostrils. Choi! Baby food! My stomach immediately responded with a growl. I immediately scanned the area in a bid to trace the source. Oh dear, now I was hungry. Brothren and sisthren, I couldn’t concentrate on my prayers anymore till I moved away from the source of that smell.

Today, it happened again. This time in a park. I almost lost my home training. Chei! Should I just go and beg for atleast one spoon? Why does baby food have to smell so nice? Is the smell a bait? Is it suppose to attract their attention? Or stir their taste buds? I’ll never understand. Well, whatever the aim is, it’s not working on these twin boys. Their mum is even begging them boys to eat. While watching them, I thought in my mind, these kids don’t even know what they’re missing. I mean, who begs anyone to eat something that smells so nice?

Little wonder nannies consume more of the food than the babies they’re supposed to feed. They will tell you that a full tin of baby food is out in three days and that the baby’s appetite is improving greatly. Then you’ll begin to question, so why are you the one putting on weight instead of the baby?

That’s to tell you the ideology behind a baby. Sometimes I wonder when a grown up human being is called “baby” and the person is so happy. Lol… Atimes babies are not able to differentiate between what is sweet and what is tasteless.
