Beauty in diversity

Relating with people with different beliefs can be difficult sometimes. You’ll wonder at the possibility and what modalities should be put in place to make the concept a reality.

I noticed that there will almost be no difference if we see everyone as an extension of ourselves. There is an undeniable mix if you critically analyse it. Everyone is about the same. I mean, we are all first humans, with the same red blood flowing through our veins. Born into families, all struggling for a means of survival and ways to impact the world.

So which one wey we come dey kill ourselves for here? Why are we extremists? Where did the popular saying live and let live go? Why can’t we live in peace and unity? I mean, where is the love in segregation? Why so much pressure? Who bewitched us? Why the seclusion? What if we’re all fighting the same course but through different paths? Why don’t we ever consider this?

We prefer to put ourselves under unnecessary pressure. Give every tiny thing a mighty interpretation and then cry foul when the cause-and-effect rule kicks in.

Me, I stopped believing that everyone has to see life through my eye before I can term them proper. There’s beauty in diversity. And everyone should embrace that beauty. The so called literates and society elites should atleast!

So my dear learned friend, I wanna hear your level of literacy when next you open your mouth to discuss politics and religion and style and relationships and common beliefs and life in general. Thank you.

I know someone who wouldn’t agree with this write up…too “judging” and self-righteous

Well, let that person make her point clearly. I’ll either buy it or not
