Kid’s gullibility

Kid’s gullibility interests me. Hahaha. I mean, how is a small-scale full functional human being so easily deceived? They can believe just about anything. You just have to appeal to their over-thinking imaginative mind, that’s all. That’s not to encourage parents and the older generation at large to lie to kids, but let’s think about it for just a little bit. How is it so easy to appeal to their senses? Have you seen cartoons that interest them? They are packed with very impossible concepts.

Personally, for a very long time I believed that if I swallowed the seed of any fruit that it will grow from my stomach and burst right through the crown of my head. Yet, I never asked myself how come I didn’t see it in any moving humans or even creatures generally. Or was my case just to be peculiar?

What if we generally do not lose that sense of gullibility, sorry, I mean imagination? Don’t you think we would enjoy life just a little more and worry just a little less?

But today’s generations are missing out on these gullibility, we say it’s a global world and they miss out. Now it’s more of technologies
You can’t tell a child of seed growing from the crown of his/her head cos they don’t eat them (local foods/fruits), they eat ice cream, burger, indomie etc

Ever since my dad use to threaten us at tender age when we go naughty, ‘ one day, I will beat you and break your hand (usen keed nya umia mbung ubok)’ and I will be so scared to repeat the scenario. My dear until now he is yet to break my hands.
I could remember when my older cousins will lie to us that when you travel to Lagos, at the end of Lagos you enter abuja, at the end of abuja you enter america, at the end of america you enter heaven. And I will like one day when I have money, I will enter america and from there visit Jesus in heaven and come back.
The fantasies in children are just too much and affects their incessant wants, that if not met, they begin to cry and disturb a lot. That’s why the only way out is to scam them real good.
We dey scam our sisters pikin wella.
Iceblog, God go record am as lie for us?

Lol….oh poor kids, if only they knew.
My dear, God is the judge. I can’t tell. But I think we should just avoid lies generally as much as we can to both young and old
