My dad was right!

Spread the love

During my high school days, my dad used to say that there’s no more to life than what you do daily. Very often he’d say: This right here is life, your daily routine. I never fully understood what he meant.

I kept thinking one day I’ll really start to live. I looked forward to the day I’d say, now my life has fully begun. But as days turned into weeks and months turned into years, the realization hit me. My dad was right! Life is a routine and consist of daily activities.

If you want anything to change in your life, change your routine. It is those little activities that makes life LIFE. There’s never going to be a date or time or season when life really starts to happen. It just slips up on all of us.

That being said, why don’t you live life right now? Who knows, anything can happen? So, just live.

I can relate to this…changing your routine. Some time ago, while going to work,I’d see same people sharing same flyers, taking same kids to school, frying same akara lol,and I thought… same boring sh** everyday. But then they probably said the same of me and others too. So sometimes, I take a different route or leave earlier to work. But work, same thing, different days

Changing routines from bad to good …..not from good to bad……..I think this is what I can learn from this writeup. Thanks

that’s why i do spontaneous and unconventional things once in a while, just to FEEL different. Repeating same routine ALWAYS makes life boring.

      I tell you.
Though sometimes the changes can’t be effected without money.
