Your Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone is a psychological state of mind where you feel like you are at ease, safe and in control of what is going on around you. In this mental state, things are familiar and everything is “how it should be”. Sounds great right?

Many people remain in their comfort zones because it takes energy to make something happen and this set of people just do not like to expend energy.
Others just plain lack motivation. They are never in the mood for anything outside the norm. They are always questioning change and motif.

Everyone loves comfort zone. I do too, sometimes. And I hate to break it to you, but if you stay long enough in that zone, you’ll die with no traces of your existence. He’s like a perfect assassin that knows his job. That’s some scary analogy, I know, but, I’m not trying to put it nicely either.

The only escape route from this trained killer is very conscious, intense migration towards progress. It’s a one-way road if you must survive.
In fact, I once heard a saying “if you must overcome mediocrity, then you must overcome creating a comfort zone over and over again”.

Seriously…… It’s difficult to think outside one’s comfort zone…Not only the energy involved, but the main issue is the risk of trying something new…. The fear to fail and the stress.
